CHS Celebrates Seven Collegiate Athletes at Annual Ceremony

Cashmere High School hosted its annual Senior Recognition of Collegiate Athletes Ceremony on Monday afternoon, honoring seven student-athletes who have committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

The ceremony recognized the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of these outstanding Bulldogs, who have excelled both in competition and in the classroom throughout their high school careers.

The athletes recognized included:

  • Annabelle Flick – Soccer – Montana State University Billings
  • Rylee Snodgrass – Equestrian – South Dakota State University
  • Ellie Creiglow – Soccer – Wenatchee Valley College
  • Prin Fox – Football – University of Nevada, Las Vegas
  • Rylan Hatmaker – Football – University of Montana Western
  • Tom McDevitt – Baseball – The Master’s University
  • Ivan Gonzalez-Hurtado – Soccer – Wenatchee Valley College

Anna Flick – Montana State University Billings

Annabelle “Anna” Flick, daughter of Holly Flick and Chris Flick, will continue her soccer career at Montana State University Billings, where she will compete for the Yellowjackets at the NCAA Division II level in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

A team captain during her senior season, Flick helped lead the Bulldogs to a 19-3 record, an SCAC Championship, a District Championship, and a State Quarterfinal appearance. As a starting defender, she earned All-Conference honors, Second Team All-State recognition, and received the Coaches Award.

Flick chose MSUB because of the coaching staff, team culture, and coaching philosophy. She plans to study Health and Human Performance.

“We are excited to have Annabelle join the Yellowjacket family,” said MSUB Head Coach Abiye Jack. “She is a tough defender, a strong student, and the type of person you want in your program.”

Rylee Snodgrass – South Dakota State University

Rylee Snodgrass, daughter of Ted and Kelli Snodgrass, will compete in equestrian at South Dakota State University, an NCAA Division I institution competing in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association.

In addition to her accomplishments in equestrian, Snodgrass has been an active member of CHS athletics, competing in wrestling and cross country. She qualified for the State Wrestling Tournament this past winter and has earned varsity letters in multiple sports.

Snodgrass selected SDSU after being recruited by the equestrian program and finding an immediate connection with the campus and community during her visit. She plans to pursue a degree in Nursing.

“Rylee is bringing a lot of success, experience, and determination to the team,” said SDSU Equestrian Coach Claire McDowell. “She is going to be a great addition to our team.”

Ellie Creiglow – Wenatchee Valley College

Ellie Creiglow, daughter of Jacob and Kristen Creiglow, will continue her soccer career at Wenatchee Valley College while pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

A two-sport athlete in soccer and tennis, Creiglow played a pivotal role in the Bulldogs’ successful season as the team’s starting goalkeeper. She helped guide Cashmere to an SCAC Championship, District Championship, and State Quarterfinal appearance while recording 10 shutouts.

Creiglow chose WVC because it allows her to remain close to home while continuing her education and athletic career.

Former CHS Head Girls Soccer Coach Dennis Tronson praised her impact on the program.

“Ellie will be a fine addition to the WVC program as she continues to develop her goalkeeper skills,” Tronson said. “She represents what Cashmere Girls Soccer is all about: hard work and dedication.”

Prin Fox – University of Nevada, Las Vegas

Prin Fox, son of Travis and Donna Fox, will continue his football career at UNLV, competing at the NCAA Division I level in the Mountain West Conference.

Fox graduates as the most highly recruited football player in Cashmere High School history. He was ranked among Washington’s top Class of 2026 prospects by ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals.

A four-year letter winner, Fox helped lead the Bulldogs to 41 victories, four State Quarterfinal appearances, two State Semifinal appearances, and a State Championship Game appearance during his career. He was a two-time First Team All-SCAC selection, the 2025 SCAC Lineman of the Year, a First Team All-State selection, and the 2025 1A State Defensive Player of the Year.

Fox plans to study Business or Sports Marketing. He completed his graduation requirements early and enrolled at UNLV in January, allowing him to participate in spring football.

“Prin has exemplified all the traits we believed he possessed while recruiting him,” said UNLV Defensive Line Coach Ricky Logo. “We are proud and thankful to have Prin as a Rebel.”

Rylan Hatmaker – University of Montana Western

Rylan Hatmaker, son of Matthew and Tenielle Hatmaker, will continue his football career at the University of Montana Western while studying Business Administration.

A very accomplished multi-sport athlete, Hatmaker excelled in football, basketball, and baseball.

As a three-year starting quarterback, he led the Bulldogs to 32 victories as a starter and established numerous school records, including career passing yards, career touchdown passes, career completions, passing yards in a season, and total offense in a season. He was a two-time All-State selection and a three-time All-Conference honoree.

Hatmaker was also a standout baseball player, helping lead the Bulldogs to three State Tournament appearances while earning All-Conference honors each season. In basketball, he was a four-year letter winner and helped lead Cashmere to a State Tournament appearance.

“We are excited to have Rylan become part of the Bulldog family at Montana Western,” said Head Coach Ryan Nourse. “His leadership and accomplishments on the football field make him a fantastic prospect to be the next All-American Quarterback for the Dawgs.”

Tom McDevitt – The Master’s University

Tom McDevitt, son of Todd and Jodi McDevitt, will continue his baseball career at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California, while pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business.

A standout three-sport athlete, McDevitt has been a key contributor in football, basketball, and baseball throughout his high school career.

On the baseball diamond, he was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection and a two-time SCAC Player of the Year. He holds school records for career stolen bases, stolen bases in a season, and career triples. He helped lead the Bulldogs to four District Championships and four State Tournament appearances.

McDevitt also earned All-State honors in football and was an All-Conference selection in basketball.

“Tom will be a tremendous asset for us,” said Master’s Head Baseball Coach Monte Brooks. “He is excited to grow in his faith, perform well in the classroom, and develop his skills on the baseball field.”

Ivan Gonzalez-Hurtado – Wenatchee Valley College

Ivan Gonzalez-Hurtado, son of Jesus Gonzalez and Julieta Hurtado, will continue his soccer career at Wenatchee Valley College while studying welding.

A four-year letter winner in the CHS boys soccer program, Gonzalez-Hurtado played a major role in helping the Bulldogs capture an SCAC Championship this spring. Cashmere finished the season with 17 victories and advanced to the State Quarterfinals.

After earning Second Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore, Gonzalez-Hurtado elevated his play and received First Team All-Conference recognition this season.

He selected WVC because of its strong soccer program and welding opportunities that align with his future career goals.

“Ivan is a player we are very excited about,” said WVC Head Coach Lenin Guzman. “His character, team-first attitude, and never-give-up mentality are what make him special.”

The seven student-athletes recognized at Monday’s ceremony represent the continued tradition of excellence in Cashmere athletics. Their accomplishments have left a lasting impact on Bulldog programs, and the CHS community looks forward to following their success at the collegiate level.
