The South Central Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference teams for the winter sports season, and the Cashmere Bulldogs are prominently featured across boys and girls wrestling and basketball.
Boys Wrestling
Cashmere’s boys wrestling program earned the conference’s highest honors. Juniors Jance Novak and Mack Pell were both named Wrestlers of the Year. Novak earned the award for the upper weight classes (150–285 pounds), while Pell was recognized for the lower weights (106–144 pounds), highlighting the Bulldogs’ strength across their lineup.
Novak (165 lbs.) and Pell (126 lbs.) also received 1st Team All-SCAC honors. They were joined on the first team by junior Marshall Pell (132 lbs.) and junior Grey Jacobson (190 lbs.), giving Cashmere four first-team honorees.
Third Team All-SCAC recognition went to freshman Kolton Weeks (144 lbs.), senior Andrew Ratliff (157 lbs.), junior Zennon Cortes (175 lbs.), sophomore Jacoby Tait (190 lbs.), and junior Ulysses Betancourt (285 lbs.).
Leading the charge for the Bulldogs was head coach Rich Wheeler, who was named SCAC Boys Wrestling Coach of the Year.
Girls Wrestling
The Bulldogs were equally impressive on the girls side. Tori Black (120 lbs.) earned 1st Team All-SCAC honors to lead the way.
Second Team recognition went to junior Haile James (135 lbs.), freshman Taylor Van Winkle (155 lbs.), and junior Sydney Mazur (170 lbs.).
Third Team honorees included junior Ruby Edwards (130 lbs.), senior Sara Andrade (140 lbs.), senior Rylee Snodgrass (145 lbs.), and freshman Abril Alvarado (235 lbs.).
Boys Basketball
On the hardwood, sophomore Mac Carlson was named 1st Team All-SCAC for boys basketball. Senior Tobie Larson earned 2nd Team honors, while senior Tom McDevitt was selected to the 3rd Team.
Girls Basketball
In girls basketball, junior Addie Talley received 1st Team All-SCAC recognition. Junior Gwen Ledesma also represented Cashmere, earning 3rd Team honors.
