The Cashmere Bulldogs boys golf team turned in a strong performance on Monday, finishing 5th overall at the Jack Barnes Invitational held at Three Lakes Golf Course in Wenatchee.

The 14-team tournament featured a unique format using Stableford scoring, where players earn points based on their performance on each hole rather than total strokes. The Bulldogs totaled 61 points as a team, competing well against a field loaded with larger 3A and 4A schools.

Moses Lake claimed the team title with 72 points, followed by East Valley in second and Eastmont in third.

Cashmere was led by sophomore Silas Kane, who posted an impressive round of 76 to pace the Bulldogs. Fellow sophomore Brett Rubio added a solid 80, while junior David Odenrider carded an 84. Senior Logan Spies rounded out the scoring with a 98.

The Bulldogs showed they can compete with some of the top teams in the region, putting together a solid day on the course against tough competition.

Next Up: Cashmere returns to SCAC play on April 14th when they travel to Royal for their next match.
