The Cashmere Bulldogs are headed into state tournament competition with both boys soccer and baseball earning high seeds in their respective WIAA 1A State Tournaments.
Boys Soccer Opens State Tournament Friday
The Cashmere Bulldogs boys soccer team enters the 1A State Tournament as the No. 4 seed and will begin tournament play on Friday, May 22, against the No. 13 Wapato Wolves at 3:00 p.m. at the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee.
Friday’s contest is a loser-out game, with the winner advancing to Saturday’s quarterfinal matchup against the winner of Raymond-South Bend and Meridian. Cashmere will be the designated home team on Friday, and Bulldog fans are encouraged to sit on the Pioneer Middle School side of the stadium.

Parking and Entrance Information
There are two entrances to the Apple Bowl:
- 915 Orondo Street (near Triangle Park)
- 1620 Russell Street (Pioneer Middle School entrance)
Because Pioneer Middle School will still be in session until 3:30 p.m. Friday, only the Orondo Street gate will be open prior to 4:00 p.m. Both entrances will open later Friday afternoon.
Fans are reminded that Wenatchee High School is also hosting state baseball games at Rec Park adjacent to the Apple Bowl. Spectators should park only in designated parking spaces and avoid blocking access routes for buses and emergency vehicles.
Please note there will be no concessions available during the soccer matches.
Bulldog Baseball Earns No. 2 Seed
Cashmere baseball has also earned a top seed in the 1A State Tournament and will open state tournament play on Saturday, May 23, at Rec Park in Wenatchee.
The Bulldogs, seeded No. 2 in the state, will face No. 15 Castle Rock at 1:00 p.m. in a loser-out contest. If Cashmere advances, they will return to the field at 4:00 p.m. to play the winner of No. 7 Zillah and No. 10 Overlake-Bear Creek.
The winner of the evening matchup will secure a spot in the 1A Final Four, scheduled for May 29 at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham.
