In one of the most anticipated matchups of the season, the undefeated Cashmere Bulldogs will hit the road Monday night to take on the five-time defending state champions, the Chelan Goats, in a non-league showdown with major implications and plenty of pride on the line.

First serve is set for 6:30 PM at Chelan High School.

The Goats enter the match ranked #2 in the WIAA 1A state rankings, carrying with them the weight of a dynasty. Winners of the past five state championships, Chelan is no stranger to the big stage.  The Goats defeated the Bulldogs in last year’s District 5 Championship match.

But this year, the Bulldogs have returned stronger than ever.

Cashmere comes into Monday night’s matchup riding a perfect 7-0 record and sitting just one spot behind Chelan at #3 in the state rankings. The Bulldogs are building off a historic 2024 campaign that saw them capture their first-ever state tournament trophy, finishing 5th in state. Now, with a more experienced and confident squad, they’ll be looking to dethrone the perennial powerhouse.
