Football season is almost here, and Cashmere High School is getting ready to kick things off with its annual preseason football jamboree on Saturday, August 29.

The event will feature five schools competing in preseason scrimmages: Cashmere, Eastmont, Okanogan, Chelan and Cle Elum.

The evening will begin with JV scrimmages at 6:15 p.m., followed by varsity scrimmages at 7:00 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to get an early look at the teams as they prepare for the upcoming football season.
