Bulldogs Well Represented on 2025 WSFCA 1A All-State Football Team

The Washington State Football Coaches Association (WSFCA) has released its 2025 All-State Football Teams, and the Cashmere Bulldogs are prominently represented following a memorable season that saw the Bulldogs finish second in the state in Class 1A.

Leading the way for Cashmere is senior defensive lineman Prin Fox, who was named the 1A Defensive Player of the Year. Fox, a dominant presence on the defensive front throughout the season, is committed to continue his football career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Cashmere’s offensive success was also recognized with multiple all-state selections. Junior offensive lineman Ulysses Betancourt earned all-state honors for his work in the trenches, while senior quarterback Rylan Hatmaker was named all-state after guiding the Bulldogs’ high-powered offense. Senior wide receiver Logan Spies also received all-state recognition on the offensive side of the ball.

On defense, Fox was joined by junior defensive end Grey Jacobson and sophomore linebacker Jacoby Tait, both of whom earned spots on the 1A defensive all-state team following standout seasons.

Special teams accolades rounded out Cashmere’s strong showing. Senior Isaac Zavala was named all-state as a returner, and sophomore Edgar Reyna earned all-state honors as a kicker.

In addition to on-field recognition, Cashmere athletes were also honored for their excellence in the classroom. In 2025, the WSFCA Executive Board introduced the inaugural Academic All-State Teams, designed to highlight the academic achievements of football student-athletes across Washington.

The Academic All-State selections were determined using a comprehensive, points-based evaluation system. Head coaches from across the state nominated student-athletes based on criteria including cumulative GPA, class rank, advanced coursework, college credits earned, football achievements, leadership, community involvement, and coach recommendations, with each category assigned a weighted point value.

Cashmere seniors Logan Spies and Thomas Bergren were both named to the inaugural 1A Academic All-State Team, further underscoring the program’s commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Congratulations to these young men on their outstanding accomplishments during the 2025 season and for representing Cashmere High School with distinction.
